Largest toothed whale on the planet, with a worldwide range. Few natural predators, and the largest brain on earth, five times bigger than ours! A solid waste in its digestive system named Ambergris is still highly valued for perfumes, and has historically been used for oil lamps, lubricants and candles. Females live in matriarchal bulls, while males live apart- a bit like elephants. In the afternoon, they socialise by rubbing together and communicating complex 'codas' of click patterns.
