Snacking while Standing
Moves 'eyeless' about the midnight and abyssal zones on modified fin 'legs' that grow up to 1 m, three times its own body size. Hermaphrodite, can fertilise its own eggs to ensure survival of the species if unable to find a mate. In the absence of light, they have developed two sensitive fins on their heads to sense food. Pumps liquid into its 'legs' to stand while hunting. 'Legs' turn back to fabric-like fins when swimming away.
